Our knee joint organ-on-a-chip system was launched into Space on Saturday (May 4) aboard SpaceX's CRS-17 mission to the International Space Station! The experiments conducted at the ISS will help improve our understanding of how osteoarthritis develops and test the effects of potential disease modifying drugs. The complete video of the launch can be found here, and the full story as well as a great explanatory video about the project can be found on this ISS National Lab blog page.
